Terms of Service
Job Tracker · effective 11 August 2026 · Bahasa Indonesia
This page sets out what you get from the service, what is not promised, and what is expected of you. Written short and without unnecessary legal phrasing — terms nobody can read are the same as no terms at all.
In short: this service is free and run by one person. Your data is yours, downloadable and deletable at any time. There is no guarantee it will always be available, and the storage is not a place to park unrelated files.
The service
Job Tracker is an application for recording and tracking your own job applications. Free, ad-free, with no paid tier. That is a product decision, not a stage before charging for it.
Accounts
- Signing in works through Google only. No passwords, no guest mode.
- Keeping your Google account secure is your responsibility. Anyone who can sign in to it can read your application history here.
- One Google account, one account on this service.
Usage limits
Because the service is free and open to anyone, there are per-user limits. They are enforced on the server, not merely in the interface:
- File size: 2 MB per document
- Total storage: 20 MB per user
- Documents: 50
- Applications: 500
- Accepted file types: PDF, DOC, DOCX, PNG, JPG
These may change if real usage calls for it. If you hit one of them for a reasonable reason, get in touch.
What is not allowed
- Using document storage for files unrelated to your job search. This is an application tracker, not a file host.
- Uploading anything unlawful, or anything that is not yours to distribute.
- Attempting to reach another user's data, or loading the service with automated requests beyond reasonable use.
Accounts in breach may be terminated without prior notice. So far this has never happened.
No warranty
The service is provided as is. It is built and paid for by one person and runs on shared hosting.
- No availability guarantee. It may go down, be slow, or misbehave without notice.
- No guarantee that reminder emails arrive. Delivery depends on a third-party service and on your own email provider. Do not let this application be your only reminder for something that genuinely matters.
- Keep your own copy. There is an Export data button in Settings, and it is worth using now and then.
The service may shut down
If it is ever discontinued, notice goes to your email address first, with enough time to export your data. Export exists from the start precisely so that you are never locked in.
Deleting an account
By you, at any time. Settings → Account & Data → Delete account. Every application, document, reminder and note is removed from the database, and your files are removed from storage. It cannot be undone.
By the service owner, after 24 months of inactivity. Accounts not opened for 24 months are deleted, after a warning is sent to your email address first. The reason is simple: holding someone's personal data after they have stopped using it is risk without benefit.
Your data
The contents of your account belong to you. They are not sold, not shared, and not used for anything other than running this service. The details — what is stored, who can see it, and which third parties are involved — are in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date above changes with them. Changes that materially affect users will be announced by email.
